In the third quarter of 2022, the top Food and Drink applications in Colombia displayed diverse performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends observed in the top 5 apps, according to Sensor Tower data.

DiDi Food - Food Delivery saw a peak in weekly downloads at around 76K in the week of July 25, before experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 51K by mid-September, followed by a slight rise to nearly 58K by the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users fluctuated, starting from around 227K at the beginning of July and ending the quarter at a similar level.

Rappi: Market and Food Online experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of around 76K in the week of September 19. The app's weekly active users showed a moderate increase, starting from approximately 1.17M at the beginning of July and maintaining around 1.16M by the end of September.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery had a notable spike in weekly downloads in mid-July, reaching around 32K. This was followed by a decline and stabilization, ending the quarter with approximately 20K downloads. The app's weekly active users increased from around 114K in early July to approximately 126K by the end of September.

TiendasYa Domicilio de Bebidas experienced a peak in weekly downloads in mid-July with about 29K, followed by a decline to around 13K in early September, before recovering slightly to approximately 19K by the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users also showed a similar pattern, peaking at around 37K in mid-July and ending the quarter with about 36K.

iFood - Comida a Domicilio had a steady trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 23K at the beginning of July and gradually declining to approximately 15K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 428K and 476K throughout the quarter.
